Mario Carrozzo, founder of Caridon Property, displayed a natural ability for entrepreneurship whilst still at school, working in the family catering and property business alongside his father from the age of just 14 years old. The experience and life skills he acquired during this time were crucial to the businessman’s later success.

At the age of 18, Mario bought and developed his first property, using his own savings to do so. This experience was the springboard to expanding his skills in construction, housing and planning, and in the subsequent years he developed many important contacts in the banking and property sectors.

Over the course of the past three decades, Mario has ran a number of successful property businesses and generated a substantial portfolio. Along the way, he has fine-tuned the ability to identify a viable business opportunity, even where its value is initially unapparent. Caridon Property was founded by Mario in 2009. The company grew rapidly and now forms part of the award-winning Caridon Group, a property development and lettings company that is dedicated to serving the communities in which it operates.

Today, Mario is a respected property entrepreneur, a dedicated family man and an industry campaigner. He continues to apply the same determination and hands-on approach to every project he undertakes. His vision for the Caridon Group is for the company to create new opportunities and fairer housing for all.

When he’s not working, Mario enjoys participating in martial arts, boxing, and playing pool and snooker. He is also a regular theatre and operagoer.
